A practical workshop on Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House – Saturday 27th October 2pm – 4pm. We shall be considering creating unforgettable heroines and how Ibsen has influenced modern playwrights including me. We shall read the opening scene of my Off-West End play ‘Chasing Ibsen’ produced at the Jermyn Street Theatre.
Making plays from newspaper stories – Saturday 24th November 10.30 am – 12.30 pm. Bring along a short newspaper article to work on.
Writing a political play – Saturday 1st December 10.30 am – 12.30 pm
How to re-write your play? – Saturday 15th December 10.30 am -12.30 pm

These workshops are suitable for all levels of experience . The atmosphere is relaxed, supportive and friendly. Tea, coffee, homemade cakes and biscuits are available.
The workshops will be a mixture of theory and industry based workshop exercises. They will be of two hours duration. The first hour for theory, the second hour for practical exercises.
